Long time since my last post. I've been on a fishing trip to Ontario, Canada and back to work one week since the last.

Today a colleague forwarded me a link blog post from Ken Norton on how to hire good product managers. It addresses the most fundamental question, "What is a product manager?" We've recently been asked to write our own job descriptions at work -- some speculate an exercise in helping execs identify overlap and cutback opportunities -- hence the relevancy of this post.
