My nephew has come to visit us for the week, sort of a short vacation before heading back to school in a few weeks. He is thoroughly enthralled by the gadget craze. He just got a new cell phone that he talks on incessantly. He has also asked me to buy him an MP3 player. Fortunately, he has some tact; he asked me to buy the player and let him "work it off" doing chores like washing the car, mowing the lawn, etc. I told him we'd order one online to get a better price and have it shipped to his house in PA. That, however, didn't go over too well because he wants in time for a beach trip he is taking next week with a friend's family. After some quick contemplation, I offered him my 1GB Sandisk MP3 player with built-in FM tuner and voice recorder. I hardly use the MP3 player and usually just use the device as a USB storage mechanism for podcasts that I listen to in the car with my Ziga MP3 Player with built in FM Modulator. I can use a simple USB flash drive for that. Now I just have to find a new one. Isn't PriceGrabber great?
